Turkey wants to remove barriers for Russian fertilizer exports
ANKARA, Apr 7 (PRIME) -- Ankara sees it necessary to remove barriers for the exports of Russian fertilizers, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said after talks with his counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Friday.
"We have discussed fulfillment of the grain deal. Continuation of its fulfillment is important not only for the Russian and Ukrainian grain and fertilizer exports but to soften the consequence of the global food crisis," the official said.
"We agree that it is necessary to remove obstacles for the supply of Russian fertilizers."
According to Lavrov, he and Cavusoglu also discussed establishment of a gas hub for transportation of Russian fuel and the Akkuyu nuclear plant project progress.
